The little black dress has been around a long time and it is not going anywhere anytime soon. Every woman should own one (if you don’t where have you been?) as they are the absolute wardrobe staple. We all have those days where everything in your wardrobe feels completely inadequate and the only solution is to pull out your LBD. The great thing about these dresses is that you can style them in so many different ways. Think you need three different dresses for work, shopping and a night on the town? Think again!
Ready for a hard day’s work …
If you think that dress you wore while dancing the night away is inappropriate for work you’re wrong – well kind of. While it might not be appropriate on its own all it takes is a few tweaks and you have yourself a great professional outfit. Add black tights, as bare legs are not really for the workplace, flats or your best court shoes and a cute coloured jumper/cardigan over the top. This will make it appear like you’re wearing a black skirt and you’ll look smart and professional.
Shop till you drop …
For shopping you’ll want to be more casual so take your boyfriend’s shirt (or just an oversized one) put it over the dress and tie it loosely. Pair with pumps or converse, your choice and your favourite satchel .You’re comfy yet stylish – the perfect combination when preparing to hit the shops hard.
Fabulous on a night out …
This dress has stud detailing and already screams night out so it’s the easiest thing in the world to just add the finishing touches. A pair of killer heels, some bright red lippy, a great clutch bag and some gold accessories. Voila! If you want to stand out from the crowd try adding neon accessories which will give this dress a completely different look and be bang on trend.
Don’t just use these tips for your LBD ladies you can apply the same to any dress you like just see this post for a great example of how to do it.
Hello my loves,
today I am sharing a outfit post with you. As some of you might have realized I love leopard prints and leather. My style tip for you is, if you use a leopard print piece in your outfit always make sure to use just one! Never over do it with the prints. That is why I chose to style this beautiful blazer with a simple white t-shirt and my favorite leather pants. The red pumps I have added to put some color into the outfit. And because I chose the black handbag with a golden detail, I chose to use only gold colored accessories. I know I might look a little bit serious in the photos, but hey I am still not used to do a lot of outfit posts :-D Should have smiled more I guess! How do you like the look in general?
When I first started blogging about 6 months ago, I knew that it would be some kinda of work. I was playing with the idea to have my own blog for quite some time, but feeled sort of intimidaded when I saw all the gorgeous blog designs on my favorite blogs.
So whenever I had some time, I tried to learn coding, creating graphics and etc. I didn´t know how many things you had to keep in mind to maintain a blog and give it the personal touch, but as usual I didn´t give up to learn and teach myself. Patience is a virtue and I definitely have a lot of it, if I really want something!
So today I present you my new blog design on Madame Keke which took me quite some time to do. Check it out and let me know how you like the overall design of the page. I am pretty much satisfied with it and this will go a long way for now. Unless I get a moment of inspiration and change it again!
Have you ever tried to design your own blog from scratch? And if not what kept you from it? I am actually thinking about adding a new section called "Blog Tutorials" to my blog. Would you be interested in that?
